Copy the nfsmw_scaling file to the root of your SD card, this file will be used by the game to tell your "fake" CPU speed, simply edit the file with Root explorer and set the speed you like with one if the following modes:
1500000 = 1.5ghz - 1.4ghz = full effects mode (im not sure if higher means even more)
1300000 = 1.3ghz - 1.1ghz = optimized full effects mode just like the Nexus 7, faster
1000000 = 1.0ghz - 900mhz = even less effects and faster (still better then asphalt 7)
800000 = 800mhz - 100mhz = low quality super fast mode
The number has to be in the proper digits, also failing to place this file on the SD will default the game to the low quality 512MB mode&
In general the lower the speed the smoother it gets and the worse the graphics, still miles ahead of Asphalt 7
You will need to have over 512MB on your device for the high quality modes past 1000000
